Hello! I'm Owen, Recruitment Manager for the Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group, and I'm delighted to share an opportunity for an outstanding Staff Nurse to join our team at Fidra House in North Berwick.

🌟 Job Purpose: Registered Nurse (Adult, Elderly Care)

Your role will be integral to providing expert clinical nursing support to all residents, upholding the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) codes of conduct and collaborating closely with the Home Manager to deliver seamless care.

📋 Core Responsibilities

To uphold exceptional standards and contribute to a list perfect care environment:

  • Promote the highest care standards across Fidra House.
  • Ensure resident, staff, and visitor safety through rigorous protocols.
  • Lead & Supervise Junior Staff: Mentor new recruits while maintaining excellence.
  • Delegate Essentials: Effectively distribute workload between shifts in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • ** uphold home standards**: Present an impeccable professional appearance, including dress, manner and conduct.
  • Document Care Records: Maintain accurate notes and individual care plans, adhering to both national safety guidelines and company policy.

✅ Requirements & Qualifications

Ideally, you would possess:

  • Minimum 12-month post-qualification experience, ideally in elderly, dementia or residential care contexts ( Nursing Homes, Hospitals or Community NIH settings). Newly qualified nurses are welcome to apply if inspired.
  • Experience or interest in clinical care with dementia-affected residents.
  • Time management skills: Balancing daily tasks and managing complex situations efficiently.
  • Nurse Leadership skills: Providing meaningful guidance and problem-solving experience within care homes.
  • Relational Skills: Deliver impactful advice to residents, staff, and families with empathy and tact.
  • Communication: Exceptional oral and written clarity, particularly in care planning and documentation.
