Willow Ward

Willow Ward is a specialist 16 bedded ward for people with organic illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, some of which pose with challenging behaviours.

Although Willow is predominantly a Dementia Ward, we accommodate a variety of other mental health illnesses. Alongside a diagnosis of Dementia, some of our patients may present with depression or have a long-standing disorder such as bipolar or schizophrenia. There is also a degree of physical health care due to the age and nature of the clients.

Charlton Lane

Charlton Lane is an Acute Mental Health Hospital for older age patients situated in Cheltenham, and it provides inpatient services to the population of Gloucestershire. It offers a vital service in supporting and rehabilitating those suffering from mild to severe mental health problems. All wards are serviced by an enthusiastic, multi-professional team of people, including Doctors, Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals who are supported by Ward Secretaries and Hotel Services Staff.

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and committed Band 5 Staff Nurses to complement our current multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate for this post would be an RMN seeking an opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives, with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping those experiencing an acute mental health concern.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
