You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients during their recovery from anaesthesia, working within a dynamic team committed to providing outstanding patient care.

Main duties of the job
As Part Of Our Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) Team, You Will Provide High-quality Care To Patients Recovering From Anaesthesia And Surgical Procedures Across a Wide Range Of Specialties, Including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopaedics and Trauma
- Vascular and Spinal Surgery
- Gynaecology and Obstetrics
- Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
The team also supports a busy Day Surgery Unit and Radiology service, with dedicated paediatric and obstetric recovery areas. In addition, you will contribute to the care of Level 1 and Level 2 patients requiring extended recovery or overnight monitoring, ensuring safe and effective post-operative care.

Essential criteria
- Registered General Nurse Level 1
- Current NMC registration
- IV certification
Desirable criteria
- ENB 998/ teaching and assessing course or Mentor prep
- Relevant Recovery/HDU/Critical care course or qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Relevant post registration experience
- Flexible working
- Working with patient information systems
Desirable criteria
- Recent PACU/Theatre/HDU/ICU
- Good computer skills
Competencies

- Experience of effective collaborative working with multi disciplinary teams
