Staff Nurse - Ward 40

Permanent post

Full time/part time available

Come and join our Staff Nurse team on Ward 40 here at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Ward 40 is a specialist Respiratory ward caring for patients across the Tameside and Glossip area. This is a great opportunity to join our ever developing and progressing wards whilst we work on our journey from good to outstanding.

The ward area cares for complex tracheostomy and laryngectomy patients. As well as patients requiring NIV and NHF.

Responsibilities:

  • To assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care within sphere of responsibility.
  • To assist in the management and organisation of work in the clinical area.
  • To always act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • To work as part of the multidisciplinary team within the unit in order to holistically address patients care needs.

We are therefore looking to recruit motivated, hardworking nurses who have excellent communication skills & a passion for their role and improving patient care. When working clinically we expect you to perform with passion and drive, provide clinically excellent care, and be supportive to patients, relatives, and other MDT members. As a registered nurse you will be expected to promote and lead the delivery of an excellent standard of patient centred care in a supported environment.
