The Opportunity
We are looking for a Staff Nurse (RMN)(RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding nursing care.
About the Role
You’ll be working 36 hours per week at Ranaich House, a specialist residential service focused on supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs—including those with mental health or physical health challenges. The care is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.
Ranaich House is located in Dunblane, an area with stunning mountain views and abundant local amenities. Residents are encouraged to engage with the community while receiving world-class nursing support.
What You’ll Do
responsibilities
- Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments & observations
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, conduct audits, & improve quality
- Attend all training sessions and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained under NMC guidelines, in collaboration with residents, relatives, & other healthcare professionals
- Administer medicines according to healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines

Requirements
Essential:
- Experienced RGN/RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number
- Ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity
- Solid understanding of current nursing best practices
- Strong commitment to patient recovery & effective risk management
- Compassion, resilience & dedication to supporting service users’ independence
- Deep knowledge of The Mental Health Act 1983 & adherence to the latest practices
- Ability to deputise in a clinical lead role
- Focused on monitoring, managing & reducing risk
- Passionate about facilitating recovery & supporting independence
