NHS Fife’s Community Immunisation Service

NHS Fife’s Community Immunisation Service is delighted to be able to recruit to a 9-month fixed-term Registered Nurse post. You will administer all immunisations to the population of Fife. The Community Immunisation Service undertakes administering immunisations to pre-school infants, primary school children, high school pupils, and adults. As an immunisation staff nurse, you will be required to work across Fife in a variety of community environments.

  • Administer all immunisations to the population of Fife
  • Work across Fife in a variety of community environments

Qualifications and Experience

  • First Level Registered Nurse
  • Experience within the community setting would be beneficial though not essential as full training will be given
  • Autonomous practitioner, able to integrate and work competently within a skill mix team
  • Committed to your own professional development and ready to undertake specific training pertinent to this role

Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager. The secondment policy can be found here. If you do not have approval for a secondment from your current line manager, you will not be able to progress your application for a fixed-term post.
