Exciting Opportunity in the Intensive Care Unit at Whipps Cross Hospital

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses who are committed to delivering high quality care to critically ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients requiring intensive care and high dependency support. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and be supported to develop the specialist knowledge and skills required to care for this complex patient group.

Requirements

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with a live NMC registration and recent acute care experience. Excellent communication skills, the ability to recognize and respond to deteriorating patients, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.

Opportunities

This role offers excellent opportunities for learning and development within a supportive critical care environment, with access to education, mentorship, and career progression pathways. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.

The aim of this post is to develop ICU nurses within the clinical area. The post holder will provide direct care to critically ill patients under the supervision of senior colleagues while acquiring and developing the specialist skills and knowledge to meet the needs of this patient group.
