The Role: Senior Product Designer (London Office, reporting team)
To run a sustainable business, our customers need climate insights at their fingertips. Great design enables powerful software that allows the world’s biggest companies to:

Product designers at Watershed strategically partner with product and engineering from vision to execution, balancing big-picture vision and detail-oriented execution. We’re customer experts, constantly iterating to meet their needs. Designers push each other to uplift their craft through weekly jams and crits. Sustainability provides a critical, motivating challenge to build expertise while creating meaningful impact.
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead our reporting team in London, driving platform and product investments to scale globally. In this role, you’ll:

Responsibilities
- Lead design for our ESG reporting application, helping Watershed build a highly competitive, end-to-end reporting product and platform.
- Design and ship experiences that scale the world’s largest organizations’ reporting efforts via:
- AI-powered multi-player report authoring
- Reusable metrics and answers
- Flexible report customization
- Additional key features
- Drive deep discovery to uncover new product opportunities, using:
- Customer feedback
- Product analytics
- Rapid iteration to move meaningful metrics
- Build the vision and product strategy for the next chapter of product.
- Partner closely with:
- EPD teams for execution
- GTM to understand and build for the market
- Leverage AI throughout the design process and in product itself to deliver great outcomes.
What You Bring (Ideal Candidate Profile)
You might be a fit if you have:
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years designing software, preferably at B2B companies.
- Strong in technical/complex problem spaces.
- Systems thinking and a love for product-building in 0-to-1 scenarios.
- Portrait of shipped success: Delivered powerful, intuitive product experiences customers adore.
- Proficiency in design craft fundamentals, consistently demonstrating:
- Strong design process
- Interaction design and usability
- Eye for polish
- Years experience with AI products and proficiency using AI tools for:
- Discovery
- Synthesis
- Design execution
- Customer obsession: Ambitious to engage with users and prospects.

Commitment and Work Arrangements
- Location: London office (3-4 days per week) with hybrid flexibility.
- Note on attendance: All roles except remote require 4 days per week in-office. UK/EU-based roles follow this rule unless explicitly remote.
