Join Fanvue.com as a Staff Engineer to lead the evolution of a high-growth platform serving tens of millions of users. You will architect the transition from a monolith to event-driven services, optimize PostgreSQL for high-throughput workloads, and build the AI infrastructure powering automated chat and content discovery. This hands-on role is pivotal for platform reliability.

What You Will Do
- Drive the monolith-to-services decomposition using proven patterns like Strangler Fig to improve system modularity, reliability, and developer velocity across the engineering organization.
- Architect and scale event-driven systems and AI infrastructure, including embedding pipelines and real-time chat features using a modern stack of TypeScript, Node.js, Go, and AWS.
- Mentor engineering teams through code reviews and design sessions while establishing high standards for AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and define team-wide engineering best practices.
The ideal candidate
- Possesses 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping and scaling distributed systems for tens of millions of monthly active users.
- Deeply proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, Go, and AWS, with specific expertise in optimizing PostgreSQL for high-throughput production environments through query optimization, partitioning, and replication.
- Highly experienced in service-oriented architecture transitions and familiar with modern AI/ML infrastructure components, including vector databases, embedding pipelines, and LLM API orchestration.
