About the Role:
A Staff title means very different things at different companies. At some it's a reward for tenure; at the best it's real scope — the hardest problems, a whole team's technical bar, and a direct line to the founders. We work closely with Europe's fastest-growing product and AI companies, so we know which is which before you ever get on a call. The teams we'd put you in front of hire for ambition and judgement, not just years and stack.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The Opportunities:
- Compensation at these companies can reach £200k+, with meaningful equity on top.
- These companies are at the stage where a Staff engineer's decisions compound: the architecture you choose this quarter is what fifty engineers build on next year, and the work ships to serious user numbers.
- You'd be hands-on — this is a shipping role, not an advisory one.
What You Could Work On:
- Setting technical direction on the highest-leverage problems in the company
- Architecting and shipping production systems end-to-end
- Raising the bar across teams through design, review and mentorship
- Working directly with founders, product and design on what gets built next
