Backed by leading investors, the business is focused on modernising a large, traditionally fragmented market through a combination of strategic acquisitions and advanced automation.
About the Role
We are hiring multiple Staff Software Engineers to join core product areas. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you will operate across business, product, architecture, and hands-on engineering.
You will:
- Automate complex, real-world workflows
- Build scalable, reliable systems that improve operational efficiency and user experience
- Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders
- Drive architectural decisions and deliver projects end-to-end
- Leverage AI and LLMs to accelerate development and design intelligent systems

You will be part of a small, high-performing engineering team with significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape the platform as it scales.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Node.js/TypeScript (preferred) or Python
- Proven ability to own complex systems and operate effectively in ambiguous environments
- Strong product and business awareness, with the ability to connect technical decisions to outcomes
- Comfortable taking end-to-end ownership across a domain
- Experience using AI/LLMs as part of day-to-day development workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Tech Stack:
- TypeScript, Node.js
- React (for frontend touchpoints)
- PostgreSQL, SQL, Drizzle, tRPC
- Extensive use of AI/LLMs and agent-based systems
Compensation & Location:
- £90K – £140K base salary
- Competitive equity package
- Fully remote within Europe (aligned to UK working hours)
