Job Description
As the hands-on technical anchor for the DeepEditor product, you'll drive the architecture and strategy for AI-powered performance editing tools used by Hollywood studios. Reporting to a former Meta Engineering Director, you will write production code daily while mentoring a growing team of fifteen engineers and shipping industry-defining technology.

What You Will Do
- Write high-quality production code daily across the full DeepEditor stack using TypeScript, React, and Python to deliver sophisticated AI-powered features.
- Lead architectural decisions and set technical standards for the product engineering team, ensuring long-term scalability for short and long-form offerings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with science, product, and creative teams to translate complex AI requirements into robust, shippable product features.
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience operating at a Staff Engineer level or equivalent, with the ability to influence technical direction without formal management authority.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, particularly with TypeScript/React and Python, with a track record of building maintainable, high-performance applications.
- A product-first mindset with experience shipping tools for creative industries and an ability to thrive in the fast-paced ambiguity of a growth-stage startup.
