Join us to:

About the Role

As a Staff Software Engineer on Ripple's Authentication and Authorization platform team, you'll help shape how identity works across our growing portfolio of payment, custody, and liquidity products. Our team is unifying previously decentralized identity systems into a consistent, federated experience while building fine-grained authorization primitives relied on daily across Ripple.

What makes our work exciting? ✔ Innovative crypto-finance solutions at a global scale ✔ A mission-driven, collaborative environment ✔ Cutting-edge AI tooling infused into daily workflows ✔ Hands-on mentorship and impact across engineering

The Work

We’re creating the backbone of identity for Ripple’s ecosystem. Join us to:

  • Drive technical direction for authentication flows, federation across multiple identity providers, and granular authorization
  • Unify identity experiences across Ripple’s products (payment, custody, liquidity)
  • Design and build scalable Kubernetes-based platform services with a focus on reliability, security, and observability
  • Work with security, compliance, and product teams to take regulatory requirements and translate them into platform capabilities
  • Write clear technical proposals and lead architecture discussions company-wide
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews and collaborative problem-solving

How We Work

AI is core to our team’s workflows:

  • Coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
  • LLM and agent-based tools across design, development, and operations
  • Collaborative, template-based processes to boost productivity

We look for practical expertise—not theoretical curiosity—in applying AI at scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
