Staff Tech Operations Lead

Senior Staff Tech Ops Lead – Oracle MOM Global IT (EU Location)

At TJX Europe, our vibrant team empowers growth, collaboration, and individual development. Oracle Information Technology (IT Operations) is searching for a Senior Staff Technology Operations Lead to helm Oracle MOM operations, strategies, and processes for our global organisation, focusing in the European marketplace with EU Business hours oversight.


Job Description

About the Role

You are part of our high-impact global team, afraid of no challenge. As the **A Staff Tech Ops Lead working within our world-leading off-price retail team, you’ll define and deliver critical processes, problem solve escalations, and elevate skillsets through industry-leading expertise and educational influence—not only for your team but partners globally.

Your day-to-day ensures stability of our Critical Business Applications supporting our whole global commerce. You will:

  • Support critical business functionality across Oracle MOM globally as the lead with European finance business stakeholders—working within EU time zones.
  • Be accountable for our IT Operations stability, driving process spans from day-to-day troubleshooting to root cause fix implementation via industry best practices.
  • Evangelise, onboarding mentorship and shielding innovations and improvement via TTb5I (Transform, Trade, Build, Share, Improve) practices.
  • Escalate and resolve technical issues—software, hardware, or process—using ticketing systems and driving quality service improvements.
  • Champion DevSecOps principles to support change processes and workflow.
  • Drive compliance by ensuring adherence to Sarbanes Oxley and organisational operational and governance standards.
  • Improve efficiency and responsiveness through global collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Best Practice Governance

  • Lead the establishment and governance of best practices in IT Service Management (ITSM/DevOps).
  • Evaluate the need for third-party solutions, manage SOW reviews, and define IT service standards.
  • Develop and refine Oracle MOM operational processes at international level, ensuring excellence and stability.

Talent Development & Increase in Domain Knowledge

  • Onboard new tech staff, mentors continuously improving collaborators, drive growth, and promise behavioural change.
  • Give technical interviews to support Talent Acquisition, to secure high-performing hires.
  • Underpin the culture of technological excellence and ICT power with ongoing SDM awareness, guiding talent to exploit and showcouldwide functionality via Service Delivery Management and Operational Excellence.

Subject Matter Expertise & Business Leadership

  • Own and champion global Oracle M0M Service Delivery Management process and roadmaps.
  • Drive cross-geographic global collaboration expertise, and bridge relationships across IT and business stakeholders.
  • Engage Senior Leadership, escalating issues and technically influencing strategic decisions with data-driven buy-in.

Essential Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • Demonstrated deep gold-certification level technical acumen with Oracle MOM, specifically knowledge of:
    • End-to-end business application processes (SDM technologies)
    • IT Operations Management (Sarbanes Oxley compliance, Critical Application CLM, Change Mgmt)
    • Emerging technology and domain awareness (DevSecOps, automation, methodologies such as SDLC alignmetn and Agile)

  • Advanced understanding of ITSM (ITIL, ISO/IEC), SOWs and Vendor Governance.

Operational & Leadership Skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolves escalations holistically, cut through root‐cause and escalate effectively.
  • Collaboration experience with cross-functional teams and style humility to teach at all levels from peers to C-level.
  • Expert in Leveraging Ticket Management applications (ServiceNow, Planview).
