Job Description

Job Role

The Staff Tech Ops Lead owns, designs, and delivers global operational processes, services, and business functionality within Oracle MOM. Core responsibilities include:

  • Managing and optimising Oracle MOM globally
  • Leading IT Operations processes and technology
  • Resolving escalations at all levels
  • Communicating strategy across teams
  • Implementing process improvements using ITIL best practices
  • Ensuring operational stability and high-quality processes
  • Advancing industry knowledge and driving technology adoption

Core Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Act as a lead for European finance business stakeholders
  • Own troubleshooting and escalation resolution for IT Operations (hardware/software/processes)
  • Use ticketing systems for issue tracking
  • Ensure technical & process documentation (SOPs, guides, knowledge base)

Process and Compliance

  • Promote operational stability and resilience
  • Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley and all emerging compliance standards
  • Drive ITSM and DevSecOps best practices (complex environments)

Strategy & Best Practice

  • Develop and promote best practices and Continuous Service Improvement (CSI)
  • Lead 3rd-party engagement evaluations
  • Oversee Statement of Work (SOW) reviews
  • Define operational and development processes

Talent Development & Culture

  • Onboard new hires
  • Mentor & coach team members
  • Support Talent Acquisition (conducting interviews)
  • Champion organisational culture
  • Expand adoption of Oracle MOM SDM across IT

Subject Matter Expertise

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Oracle MOM
  • Experience managing technical processes, escalations, and compliance
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and influence leadership
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
