Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?

Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.

The role

We create development tools for PlayStation® platforms. From compilers and performance analysers to audio and graphics tools, our products are designed to make PlayStation® developers' lives easier and more efficient.

To help us continue to evolve and meet the needs of an ever-changing technical landscape, we are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our team in Bristol, Dublin or London, supporting the delivery of the best possible game developer experience.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be working at the heart of our software development lifecycle: creating plans, defining processes, monitoring progress and coordinating releases. You will work closely with predominantly UK and Ireland-based development teams, alongside stakeholders in the US and Japan. You will be responsible for coordinating resources across the full software development lifecycle, helping to construct roadmaps, managing stakeholder input, highlighting dependencies, mitigating risks and handling unexpected disruptions. You will also contribute to the wider TPM organisation, sharing and developing best practices, ways of working and common frameworks that other groups can leverage.

Your efforts will make a key contribution towards critical elements of the PlayStation® developer platform and, by extension, be part of all software released for PlayStation®. Ultimately, your work will make a meaningful contribution to the continued success of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
