Company Description
PeakTew NAM is the North America branch of PeakTew Inc., an award-winning next-generation social network founded in January 2023. PeakTew’s app helps users discover and connect with people, places, and events nearby, aiming to reduce phone addiction and support better mental well-being for Gen Z and beyond. Backed by Silicon Valley investors and advisors, the startup is incubated across the USA, France, and the UK and is viewed by industry professionals as a potential unicorn. The fully international team includes about 30 members from 22 nationalities across six continents, offering a highly multicultural environment. PeakTew is strongly committed to social responsibility and aligns its mission with several UN Sustainable Development Goals, including good health, decent work, sustainable cities, and responsible consumption.
Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Student Business Developer with focus areas in startup growth, marketing, and sales at PeakTew NAM. In this position, you will support business development activities such as identifying potential partners, researching markets, and helping build strategic relationships in North America. You will contribute to marketing initiatives by assisting in campaign planning, content coordination, and social media/community outreach aimed at Gen Z and young professionals. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting competitive and market analysis, preparing pitch materials, supporting sales outreach, and updating internal reports and dashboards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members in different time zones, participate in virtual meetings, and contribute ideas to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and brand visibility.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Business and Business Administration, ideally through current studies in business, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Solid Analytical Skills and basic understanding of Finance to interpret data, support market research, and contribute to revenue and growth analyses.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate in a remote, multicultural team and engage with partners, users, and stakeholders.
- Interest in startups, digital platforms, and social networking, with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset and willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to manage time independently, balance part-time work with studies, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working remotely with digital collaboration tools (e.g., email, video conferencing, shared documents, project management platforms).
- Prior experience or internships in business development, marketing, or sales are a plus but not required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage in an international context.
