Job Description

Assist in providing general building maintenance and repair works on behalf of Cambridge Maintenance to its client base.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plant room and equipment upkeep
    • Cleaning and tidying of plant rooms and equipment in modern, high-standard office buildings
    • Painting and re-decorating equipment and floors
    • Chemical cleaning of equipment using high-pressure jet washers

  • Logistics and deliveries

    • Transport and stock management of spare parts to site
  • Maintenance and compliance tasks

    • Conducting basic building maintenance, including meter readings and tap temperature checks
  • Technical support

    • Assisting Building Services Technicians as required
  • Interpersonal and project management

    • Maintaining professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
    • Efficient time management and teamwork
    • Submitting clear, accurate reports with recommendations for further work
    • Compiling weekly timesheets
    • Reporting on job progress to Contracts Managers

Location & Hours

  • Location: Walthamstow / Hendon / London
  • Hours: 42 hours per week (flexible arrangement subject to client demand)

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Previous maintenance or building services experience preferred
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Basic PC proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Desired Skills & Qualifications

✔Experience in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems ✔Knowledge of air conditioning maintenance and repairs ✔Claimed or registered Health & Safety training
