Fire Damper Engineer
Location: Heathrow Airport
Salary: Competitive in Industry + Additional night shift pay
Working Hours: 9pm - 5am
Join Trinity Fire & Security
Trinity are hiring a Damper Engineer to install & maintain fire dampers and associated systems. You will be working on mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems.
Working at Heathrow Airport, you’ll be working as part of a skilled teams of Engineers and Senior Engineers to build on the company’s reputation in quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain fire dampers in line with Trinity’s quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Ensure correct assembly, alignment, and secure installation of dampers within ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Carry out inspections, routine maintenance, and adjustments to ensure dampers remain fully operational.
- Support the repair and replacement of faulty components and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Accurately maintain service records, reports, and compliance documentation.
About You
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of HVAC systems, construction practices, and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A safety-first approach, with a commitment to adhering to company and industry standards.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop technical expertise in the field.
