Static Lift Service Engineer
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Static Lift Service Engineer with excellent communication skills to join our Trophy Division at a prestigious site in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the on-site building management team, delivering an exceptional, high-quality service within a premium, high-profile environment. Full product training will be provided; however, a solid working knowledge of lift systems is essential. As part of our Trophy Division, you will operate on a static site, playing a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting the site management team. You will be responsible for delivering planned maintenance and ensuring the continued safe and efficient operation of lift equipment. 08:00-17:00 Monday- Friday.

Your Main Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with contract requirements across a portfolio of lift equipment Perform routine servicing, including minor repairs and component replacements Respond to breakdowns, troubleshooting and rectifying faults efficiently to minimise downtime Conduct operational checks, including: Speed, Motor start/stop performance, Noise and temperature levels and Power supply integrity Complete fault finding and diagnostic procedures using technical manuals and appropriate test equipment Carry out routine inspections and adjustments on lift installations Reinstate equipment safely and complete all service documentation accurately and promptly
What You Bring
Experience in Lift Servicing/ Maintenance/ Repairs preferred Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift maintenance or equivalent Ability to interpret and work from technical documentation and schematic drawings Advanced Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including Multi-Brand equipment A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering an elite level of service Advanced problem-solving skills Full UK driving License The ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and within efficiencies The ability to work independently with a flexible approach Good communication skills at different levels (Client/Service Leader/Inspectors) Manual dexterity - Requires the use of hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate various hand and power tools and to record written information Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills
