Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week (Mon to Friday) | Permanent / Poole
Are you an experienced operational leader with a passion for delivering high-quality patient services? We are looking for a Station Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy healthcare transport operation, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery.
The Role
As Station Manager, you will provide leadership to operational teams, manage station resources, and ensure services are delivered to the highest standards. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, managing performance, supporting staff development, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support operational staff to deliver excellent patient services.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, Information Governance, and company policies.
- Oversee station operations, vehicle deployment, and resource management.
- Manage staff performance, training, absence, and wellbeing.
- Monitor service quality, conduct audits, and implement improvements.
- Ensure ambulances, equipment, and station facilities are safe, clean, and fit for purpose.
- Produce operational and performance reports and help achieve contractual KPIs.
- Build positive relationships with healthcare professionals, commissioners, and stakeholders.

About You
- Previous experience leading operational teams in a healthcare, transport, logistics, or service-led environment.
- Strong people management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
