Description
HS2 have retained our services to recruit the Stations Delivery Director to lead the delivery of station infrastructure across the UK’s most complex transport programme, delivering and integrating this multi-£bn stations project portfolio within the major infrastructure investment programme.
This role will be accountable for the design, construction and commissioning of major station assets, ensuring delivery to cost, schedule, quality and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience across multi-billion-pound construction, rail, transport infrastructure or complex engineering programmes. They will bring strong programme leadership, stakeholder management and commercial judgement, with the ability to influence government, delivery partners, joint venture boards and senior internal teams.

We are seeking candidates with proven experience delivering integrated infrastructure programmes involving multiple assets, complex interfaces, testing, commissioning and handover into operation. This is a high-profile leadership role requiring the ability to navigate national stakeholder complexity and lead large client-side and supply chain teams.

Key Accountabilities
Lead the delivery of station infrastructure across the programme, ensuring performance against cost, schedule, quality and safety requirements. Ensure station assets are designed, built and commissioned in line with programme requirements and approved baselines. Establish and maintain industry-leading health and safety performance throughout design, construction and commissioning. Lead the integration of station assets into the wider programme to support delivery of railway configuration states. Manage complex stakeholder relationships across government, delivery partners, supply chain teams and senior governance forums. Drive programme performance, identifying opportunities for improvement across cost, schedule, quality and safety. Lead and direct large client-side teams and extensive supply chain partner teams. Ensure delivery complies with required agreements, undertakings and assurances. Promote and embed equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of work.
