Statistics Domain Expert – AI (Remote)
Locations: Remote (United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, or Argentina)
About the Role
One of our clients is hiring Statistics Domain Experts to help AI models interpret and solve complex quantitative problems. As a domain expert, you will:
- Create rigorous analytical prompts
- Evaluate model responses for statistical accuracy
- Ensure AI adheres to the highest standards of quantitative reasoning (working remotely with flexible hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text generated by AI models
- Craft challenging statistical analytical prompts and contribute expert-level answers in Statistics
- Evaluate and rank AI-generated domain responses for accuracy
- Review and correct AI reasoning processes for statistical correctness
- Provide precise written feedback on quantitative reasoning and methodology
- Collaborate with the Outlier expert community to uphold quality standards

Required Skills
- Ability to write clearly and precisely about Statistics concepts in fluent English
- Strong analytical reasoning with rigorous attention to quantitative detail
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
Required Qualifications
- Degree in: Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science (statistical focus), Operations Research, Machine Learning (with statistical emphasis), or Quantitative Psychology
- Relevant experience as a statistician, biostatistician, data scientist, quantitative researcher, or equivalent technical/analytical role

Compensation
- Pay rate: Up to $150 USD/hr
- Payments: Issued weekly via supported platforms (e.g., PayPal, AirTM)
