Statistics Specialist (Remote)

Locations: Remote (United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, or Argentina)


Role Overview

As a Statistics Specialist, you will help train advanced AI models to accurately interpret and solve complex quantitative problems. In this role, you will:

  • Develop expert-lvl analytical prompts for AI evaluations.
  • Evaluate model outputs for statistical accuracy.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to quantitative reasoning standards.
  • Collaborate in a fully remote, flexible environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the factuality and relevance of AI-generated statistics-focused text.
  • Create challenging analytical prompts and provide expert-level reference answers in Statistics.
  • Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses by accuracy and coherence.
  • Review and refine AI chains of thought for statistical correctness.
  • Provide clear, data-driven written feedback on methodology.
  • Work with a community of experts to maintain high-quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex statistical concepts effectively in English.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and keen attention to quantitative detail.
  • Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in: Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science, Operations Research (statistically focused), Machine Learning (with statistical focus), or Quantitative Psychology.
  • Professional experience as a:
    • Statistician, Biostatistician, Data Scientist, Quantitative Research, or similar role with heavy analytical demand.

Compensation

  • $150 USD/hr (hourly rate)
  • Weekly payouts via PayPal or Airtm
