Role Overview
Our client is hiring Statistics Subject Matter Experts to equip AI with advanced analytical reasoning. As a domain expert, you'll design intricate analytical prompts, validate AI responses for statistical accuracy, and uphold rigorous standards in frontier AI models—all while maintaining a flexible, remote schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models
- Craft challenging analytical prompts in Statistics and provide expert-level answers
- Evaluate, rank, and verify domain-specific AI-generated responses for quantitative accuracy
- Review and correct AI-generated chains of thought for statistical validity
- Provide clear, precise written feedback on reasoning and methodology
- Collaborate within the Outlier expert community to maintain high-quality standards

Required Skills
- Exceptional ability to write fluently about Statistics in fluent English
- Strong analytical reasoning skills with rigorous quantitative attention to detail
- Experience working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
Required Qualifications
Education in:
- Statistics, Biostatistics
- Mathematical Statistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Econometrics
- Data Science
- Operations Research
- Machine Learning (with statistical focus)
- Quantitative Psychology

Compensation
