Temple University's Main Campus Facilities Department is seeking a Steam/Pipefitter II to join the team.

Hourly rate: $37.06/hr
Position Summary
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, a Steam/Pipefitter II provides all services to:
- Maintain, repair, install, and replace piping, valves, fittings, gaskets, and pumps associated with steam, chill, hydronic heat, and processed water systems at Temple University.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Background checks required:
- Motor vehicle driver’s license check

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Must meet High School equivalency, trade school completion, or an accredited apprenticeship completion.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with steam and chill systems.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Skills & Abilities
- Must possess rigging experience to work safely in all situations.
- Must be proficient in:
- All manners of cutting
- Welding all applicable materials
