Senior Tekla Draughtsperson
Salary up to £50,000 (DOE)
About the Company
Our client is a well-established structural steel contractor, delivering commercial and industrial projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Senior Tekla Draughtsperson to their Drawing Office team.
The Role
Working alongside the Contracts and Engineering teams, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate 3D models and fabrication drawings for a range of structural steel projects, including portal frames and complex steel structures.

Responsibilities
- Produce 3D models and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare GA drawings, erection drawings, NC files, and material schedules.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, fabrication, and site teams.
- Resolve technical queries and ensure drawings meet project specifications.
- Support projects through fabrication and installation.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience using Tekla Structures.
- Proven experience detailing structural steelwork and portal frame buildings.
- Strong understanding of **steel fabrication, connections, and erection`.
- Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
