Step 2 Referee Coach
Ready to make a real impact on the game? The FA is seeking a dynamic Level 2 Referee Coach to join our Football Operations team, where you'll help elevate standards, strengthen our workforce, and ensure a consistent and robust approach to referee development and recruitment.
What will you do? Attend Step 2 fixtures to observe, analyse and report on Referee and Assistant Referee performance, producing objective reports aligned to the Refereeing DNA. Support officials' development across technical, tactical, psychological and behavioural areas. Contribute to succession planning, promotion decisions and longer-term referee development strategy. Assist with training events, workshops and wider CPD activity. Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained. As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role. Casual work is conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory DBS check result, which will be fairly considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with legislation and government guidance.
