Sterile Services Technician

Circle Decontamination – Jubilee Court

Role Summary

Contact: Circle Decontamination – Jubilee Court Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Permanent, Flexible Shift Pattern) Salary: Up to £26,060.00 per year, depending on experience, training and qualifications.

About the Role

Circle Health Group Decontamination provides sterile medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across hospitals in England and Glasgow. Operating 24/7, this unit requires a Sterile Services Technician to join the team, offering full-time, flexible shift coverage (day and night).


Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a first-class decontamination sterile service to Operating Theatres, clinical, and paramedical departments.
  • Assisting in decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance within the department and across its operations.
  • Monitor and report equipment faults to relevant Team Leaders/Managers.
  • Supporting Team Leaders in liaising with departments to ensure supply needs are met.
  • Complying with mandatory training and protocol requirements.

Requirements & Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern.
  • Completed Hepatitis B Immunisation (required for this role).
