About the Role
At STERIS Instrument Processing we are the believed experts in surgical instrument sterilisation. We offer on and offsite re-processing, alongside reliable instrument maintenance solutions. Our diverse and talented teams use cutting-edge technology to ensure the highest quality of infection prevention is delivered to our customers.
We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at the supervisory level and oversee the productivity and welfare of the staff on site.

Working Pattern
Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:00
Responsibilities
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safe and efficient practices for decontamination, assembly, and sterilisation of instruments, consumables, and equipment within predefined quality standards.
- Providing direct and effective supervision to ensure timely delivery of clean and/or sterile instrumentation.
- Confirming all operational activities fully comply with Health and Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and recording department quality assurance records in line with the QMS (Quality Management System).
- Proactively assessing and ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, while keeping staff trained and informed.
- Actively contributing as a member of the management team by suggesting innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Supporting the Production Manager with planning and operational processes.

Benefits
- Salary: £30,134.00 per annum plus a 5% performance bonus, along with generous shift allowances for overtime/unsociable hours. A higher cost-of-living allowance applies if the role involves working in London.

Requirements
- Education: A high level of literacy and numeracy, backed by demonstrable skills.
- Technical skills: Basic computer literacy, specifically to operate a track and traceability IT system.
- Attributes: Must demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork, integrity, ability to work under pressure, accountability, and attention to detail.
