Key Responsibilities
Your role will be vital in upholding healthcare safety standards. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- Quality Assurance & Infection Control:
- Oversee and ensure the safe and efficient decontamination, assembly, and sterilisation of surgical instruments, consumables, and medical equipment.
- Maintain strict compliance with predefined quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

Supervisory & Operational Leadership:
- Provide direct supervision to ensure timely delivery of clean and sterile instruments.
- Monitor and maintain all departmental quality assurance records (QMS).

Health, Safety, & Training:
- Proactively enforce Health & Safety procedures and ensure staff are trained, informed, and compliant.
- Work closely with the Production Manager in operational planning and process optimisation.

Continuous Improvement:
- Actively contribute to innovation, process improvements, and best practices.
Working Pattern
- Working Hours: Mon – Fri, rotating shifts 2200 – 0600 (overnight) 40 hours per week

Requirements & Skills
Qualifications & Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
- A good general education standard (no mandatory degree required)
- Strong verbal and numerical abilities
- Basic IT proficiency (ability to operate sterilisation/quality management systems)
