Sterile Services Technician - Nights
Location: Circle Decontamination - Radlett Hours: 37.5 hours per week ( permanente) Pattern: Flexible shift pattern including nights
About the Role
Circle Health Group Decontamination provides sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across hospitals in England and Glasgow. The department operates around the clock (24/7) with a rotating shift pattern that includes nights (22:00 - 06:00).
We are seeking a Sterile Services Technician to join our skilled team and ensure the delivery of top-tier decontamination services across the operating theatres, clinical departments, and paramedical services.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Providing a first-class decontamination sterile service to our key customer departments
- Supporting the decontamination process, including checking, assembling, packing, sterilising, and delivering medical and surgical equipment and sundry items
- Maintaining strong professional relationships with all stakeholders
- Promoting and upholding Health & Safety standards within the department
- Ensuring all equipment meets safety requirements, with prompt reporting of defects to senior team members
- Assisting Team Leaders in liaising with departments to guarantee an uninterrupted supply chain of necessary items
- Complying with all mandatory training requirements
- Ensuring the technical and safety-wise integrity of processes for staff, visitors, and patients

Salary range is up to £28,705.43 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications, and training.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of decontamination
- Flexibility to accommodate a night shift working pattern
- Hepatitis B immunisation (required).
