About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organised Training and Development Manager with a Certificate III in Sterilisation Services to join our Sterilising Services Team.
In this role, you will:
- Orient, train, and develop both new and existing staff, ensuring compliance with national standards and Canberra Health Services (CHS) policies.
- Design, develop, and deliver education programs aligned with decontamination, reprocessing, and patient-focused service standards.
- Support high-quality service delivery to all customers while managing training monitoring and compliance.

This role is dynamic and diverse, combining:
- Training and education program development
- Practical training delivery
- Administrative responsibilities
- Shift-work flexibility (to cover early, late, night shifts when required)

Pre-Employment Requirements
Before commencement, you must meet the following:
- National Police Check
- Compliance with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination policy.
- Availability to rotate through a weekend/public holiday on-call roster (position primarily Monday–Friday, daytime hours).
