Recruiting for Event Steward
Location: Isle of Man
Recruiting from: Northern Ireland
Pay Rate: £13.90 per hour
Hours of work:
- Hours average between 8 / 12 hr days
- Not guaranteed to work every day apart from race / practice days
- All staff required
Expense Supplement: £25 per Day
Travel, Accommodation, and Uniform:
- All Provided by G4S
Event dates:
14th - 31st August
(Please note each candidate must be available for the duration due to travel and accommodation arrangements)
About The Role
As a Steward at G4S, you will be a key part of our team. You will ensure safety of our client, customers, and visitors, their assets, whilst providing customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe environment, covering event security at one of the world's best-known sporting events. You’ll be involved in the set up and ensuring that the event is a success. You’ll be joining a team with various experience in the security industry as well as newcomers to the industry!
Our Stewards provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. Which means you may be on your feet a lot. You’ll enjoy the buzz of the event while working with and meeting great people.
Duties will include
- Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
- Searching visitors on entry to venues
- Access controls
- Managing Carpark
- Start line/Parc Ferme Roles
- Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venue
- Patrolling roles in various locations across the site
