REPORTING Lead Stylist

ROLE OVERVIEW Working within a creative studio team as a still life stylist on e-commerce fashion shoots for a leading high street retailer George.

Please note this role is studio based, 5 days per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To style high quality still life product photography both as flat lay and on mannequin working with Women’s, Men’s & Kids wear products. Shooting at volume in
  • You will be creative with your styling approach but at the same time be able to work on high volumes with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
  • Work with social content creators to style for social media content
  • Meeting daily targets whilst maintaining a high level of styling throughout. Working alongside the team to keep reshoots to a minimum.
  • Gain a great understanding of the product, it’s unique selling points, area of focus and product care.
  • Pro-actively keep up with current trends and competitor activity and share findings with the wider team.
  • Work closely with the Samples Lead to organise all clothing, prepping outfits, arranging in order for the shoot schedule and steaming.
  • Responsible for the care and upkeep of your studio & wardrobe areas.
  • Maintaining a consistent and organised work-flow, meeting daily tasks, and aiming to exceed targets and deadlines.
  • Adhere to the clients in Style Guide when applicable and be part of ensuring they are kept relevant and up to date
  • To take an active interest in product knowledge & trade information.
  • Adhoc support to Sample Lead in sample processing samples when required.
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

SKILLS

  • You will have previous experience working as a still life stylist and experience working in a fast passed, dynamic studio environment.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates the applied techniques required for e-commerce fashion styling. Experience working with a vast range of products, shooting flat lay and on mannequin.
  • Excellent attention to detail, good work ethic, and have a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Highly organised with previous experience pulling together creative looks.
  • Be aware of current still life trends, social media trends and how to translate these trends in a suitable wearable way for the customer whilst being as reactive as possible.
  • Excellent communication skills to help ensure the shoot stays on time /schedule.
  • Have a good understanding of the customer, what is on brand and how to push the brand forward. Being aware of competitors, social trends and how we keep the brand one step ahead and relevant
  • You are collaborative, enthusiastic, and positive
