Loom Talent is delighted to be supporting a leading logistics and supply chain business in the search for an experienced Stock Control Manager to join their operation in Hounslow. This is an excellent opportunity for an inventory professional with leadership experience to take ownership of stock accuracy, inventory processes, and warehouse administration within a fast-paced distribution environment.
The Opportunity
As Stock Control Manager, you’ll:
- Lead the inventory function, ensuring stock accuracy and efficient warehouse processes
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and operational teams
- Use data and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead and develop a high-performing Stock Control team

- Manage stock accuracy and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Produce and analyse stock reports, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain effective inventory control procedures
- Support efficient warehouse performance through collaboration with operational teams
- Lead, coach, and develop the Stock Control team
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, quality standards, and Health & Safety requirements
- Complete inventory reporting and quality documentation accurately and on time
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse operation
About You
We’re seeking a proactive Stock Control professional with experience in a warehouse or logistics environment who enjoys leading teams and improving processes. You should have:
- At least two years’ experience in Stock Control or Inventory Management
- Previous people management experience
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- An A-Level education or equivalent
