Stock Control Operatives – Permanent Role with EDF Project
Location: GXO Bridgwater, UK Sector: Logistics & Supply Chain Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours, 06:00 - 18:00)

What You’ll Do
As a Stock Control Operative, your responsibilities include:

Support & Leadership:
- Act as deputy for the Stock and Systems Team Manager when required
- Maintain stock procedures, ensuring compliance with Licence Conditions & Health & Safety
- Uphold rigorous data integrity standards

Warehouse & WMS Operations:
- Accurately enter and maintain data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Review inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring prompt traceability
- Align physical stock with system records to eliminate discrepancies

Stock Auditing & Analysis:
- Lead cycle counting activities, analyse results, and resolve discrepancies -Recommend corrective actions to meet KPIs and audit benchmarks

Equipment & Team Collaboration:
- Monitor equipment maintenance and report issues promptly
- Address customer or ad hoc stock queries efficiently
What You’ll Need
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations (familiarity with FIFO/LIFO principles is ideal)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (preferred: Manhattan)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving operational demands
