The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Stock Controller to join a prestigious luxury retail business based in the heart of London's West End. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of stock throughout the flagship store, supporting both the retail and online operations.
You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, maintaining accurate stock organisation, fulfilling online and Click & Collect orders, and ensuring customer purchases are dispatched efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and check all incoming deliveries against delivery documentation, ensuring quantities, sizes, colours, and SKUs are accurate.
- Identify and report any delivery discrepancies promptly to ensure stock accuracy.
- Organise and maintain stock rooms to the highest standards, ensuring products are stored safely and can be located quickly.
- Ensure all garments, including high-value merchandise, are stored with appropriate care and protection.
- Support the preparation and execution of twice-yearly stocktakes.
- Fulfil daily stock transfer requests to support the company's online operations.
- Pick, prepare, and process Click & Collect orders accurately and efficiently.
- Pack and dispatch customer orders, creating courier labels and ensuring collections are completed on schedule.
- Work closely with the retail and operations teams to ensure the shop floor remains fully replenished and operational.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all stock and back-of-house areas.

Required Skills & Experience
- Previous stock control, stockroom, warehouse, or retail operations experience is preferred, ideally within a premium or luxury retail environment.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident handling stock management processes and high-value merchandise.
- Able to prioritise workload and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- A proactive, hands-on team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Flexible and dependable, with a commitment to maintaining the highest operational standards.
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £28,000 per annum plus bonus.
- Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm.
- 20 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, increasing by one day per year of service up to a maximum of 25 days.
