At Altro

We're passionate about creating solutions that transform spaces and improve people's wellbeing. As a family-owned British manufacturer with over 100 years of heritage, we're proud of our values, our people, and our reputation for quality.

We're looking for a Stock Deployment Lead

To join our Global Procurement & Supply Chain team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced inventory, stock management, or supply chain professional to take ownership of finished goods deployment across our global Floors and Walls businesses.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time across our international operations. Working closely with commercial teams, planners, demand planners, distribution teams, and global stakeholders, you'll optimise inventory levels whilst balancing availability, efficiency, and working capital.

This is a full time, permanent, hybrid working role (3 days a week in the office in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire)

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting stock targets, safety stock levels, and lead times across global locations
  • Defining and managing stock categorisation strategies (ABC analysis)
  • Collaborating with planning teams to optimise production runs
  • Managing inter-company stock transfers and global inventory deployment
  • Working with demand planners to identify trends and forecast changes
  • Developing processes that enable efficient global stock movements
  • Driving improvements in stock turn and inventory efficiency
  • Modelling inventory scenarios to support working capital decisions
  • Identifying slow-moving stock and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Supporting successful new product launches and legacy product exits
  • Establishing standardised global processes and reporting progress through KPIs

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
