Stock Manager
Stock & Resource Planning Manager
Full-Time, Permanent Role – Harlow, 08:00–16:30
About the Role

Here at GXO, we’re searching for a Stock & Resource Planning Manager to join our shared user operations in Harlow, supporting a critical customer contract.
This opportunity offers a full-time, permanent role with ample scope for growth and operational excellence. You’ll take ownership of inventory strategy, resource planning, and stock performance—playing a key role in supporting business growth while ensuring seamless supply chain productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Resource Leadership
- Oversee full inventory and resource planning across operations, ensuring optimal stock availability, accuracy, and distribution to meet customer demand and service levels.

Process Excellence & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and refine stock control processes and planning frameworks to maintain compliance, efficiency, and consistency in all operational activities.

Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyse stock performance, demand patterns, and operational trends to identify risks, drive improvements, and inform strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead the stock and planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance while encouraging continuous development.

Labour & Forecasting Management
- Manage labour planning and forecasting to align resources with volume requirements and budgets while enhancing productivity and operational performance.
Essential Requirements
- Industry Experience
- Proven track record in inventory management, stock control, or workforce planning within a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment.

- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and advanced Excel capabilities.

- Skilled in stakeholder management and collaboration, influencing decisions across operational and customer teams.
