Are you an experienced inventory and planning professional looking to step into a high-impact leadership role? Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Stock & Resource Planning Manager to join our shared user operation in Harlow, supporting a key customer contract. This is a full-time, permanent role (08:00 to 16:30).
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of inventory strategy, resource planning, and stock performance, playing a pivotal role in supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Resource Planning:
- Optimise stock availability, accuracy, and distribution to meet customer demand while driving operational efficiency.
- Lead resource planning to align labour with volume requirements, budget, and productivity goals.

Process Improvement & Data-Driven Decisions:
- Develop and refine stock control processes and planning frameworks to ensure compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Analyse stock performance, demand trends, and operational risks using advanced forecasting to influence decision-making.

Team Leadership & Development:
- Coach and lead a stock and planning team, fostering accountability and a high-performance culture.

Requirements
You must have:
- Proven industry experience in inventory management, stock control, or workforce planning within logistics, supply chain, or fast-paced environments.
- Skilled in Warehouse Management Systems and advanced Excel analytics.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including training and team performance management.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and business communication to collaborate with operational and customer teams.
