Stock Operative – Toys Department (Harrods)

Our Stock Operations team is recruiting for a Stock Operative to support our Toys Department. This role is essential in ensuring seamless operations that make the Harrods magic come to life every day.


About the Role

In this Stock Operative role, you’ll:

  • Process deliveries efficiently and accurately across high-demand departments.
  • Support in furniture, denim, contemporary collections, and more—helping you build experience in diverse areas.
  • Maintain and organise stock preparations from the Harrods standard.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Keep stockrooms clean while adhering to Health & Safety standards at all times.
  • Handle, store, and pack merchandise safely, including heavier items as required.
  • Unpack and verify deliveries against notes, raising any discrepancies immediately.
  • Ticket, price, and adjust stock accurately, including markdowns and updates.
  • Support daily stock audits, week-away stocktakes, and sale preparations.
  • Maintain filing systems for packing lists and update tracking tools regularly.

This fixed-term 12-month contract commences in August 2026, with shifts over 5 days/7, rotating across three fixed shifts:

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 1:15 PM – 9:15 PM
