Stock Operative
Job Summary
Performs a variety of distribution centre inventory control activities (defined below) related to one or more of the following processes: Stock investigations, moisture sensitive lines (MSL), compliance and inventory support. Provides high quality, cost effective, and efficient service to meet current and future demands.
What will you be doing?
- New product set-up admin including the location of new products
- Ensuring the quality control for products – MSL, Date and Lot etc
- Counting the stock to ensure audit requirements are met
- Assistance with the resolution of FMS and Inspection queries
- Supplier returns – items which are no longer required for sale as defined by the product teams
- Product shortages – responsible for the location of stock and completion of the warehouse shortage process if appropriate
Activities will require more technical skills and the highest levels of compliance to relevant standards. The new warehouse management system will support these roles but high levels of operator knowledge and training will also be required. Will involve more PC based activities using a range of systems.

What else could you be involved in?
- Responsible for the integrity of the products
- Maintains a clean safe working environment at all times.
- Communicates with manager/supervisor regarding any stock integrity issues or problems.
- Ensures documents are complete, accurate and processed appropriately.
- Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics, continuous improvement and health & safety.
- Maintains and updates systems as required.
- Other duties as assigned
