GXO are looking for Stock Team Leaders to join our team in Thatcham, working in partnership with a prestigious, high-performance running footwear and apparel brand. You will lead a high performing team of flexible and engaged colleagues, focusing on always delivering operational excellence.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working shift patterns Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required, 2pm to 10:30pm
Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £30,210 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training, and development Take ownership of all inventory control activities, ensuring consistently high stock accuracy across the warehouse Plan, coordinate, and oversee regular cycle counts, ensuring all are completed accurately and on schedule Track, analyse, and report on inventory discrepancies, stock accuracy, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and maintained within the WMS system
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience in a similar Stock Team Leader role within a fast-paced warehouse environment Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
