Looking for a new challenge? The Department of Reproductive Medicine are looking for a motivated individual to join its busy team!

Role Overview

The post holder will provide a high-quality support assistant role to the Gynaecology Service. The post holder will support the Doctors, Consultants, and admin team in the day-to-day running of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Support the provision of the highest quality patient care through dedicated administrative and clerical support and continuous improvement.
  • Support Lead Patient Pathway Coordinators ensuring the provision of a comprehensive service to the Consultants and their teams, working within this area.
  • Support the Lead PPC, who are the point of contact for patients accessing elective hospital services throughout their pathway of care ensuring Trust quality standards and targets are achieved.
  • Be the point of contact for all administrative and clerical issues relating to patients’ pathway of care, tracking and supporting them from referral to treatment &/or discharge.
  • Provide a patient-focused service that supports clinical staff in the provision of efficient integrated pathways that enable the best use of resources and ensure that patients are fit, willing, and able to be treated and that they are treated in the right place, by the right person, at the right time.
  • Ensure high levels of patient care and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer-focused, and knowledgeable point of contact.
