Store Assistant
Store Assistant – Basildon (20 hours per week)

About the Role
We're looking for ambitious, reliable candidates who live nearby and can commit to early starts (from 7 AM) and late finishes (until 8 PM). At Toolstation, we start you on a journey—many of our managers began as Store Assistants and now lead their own teams.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment passionate about customer service, this role is perfect for you. How you’ll grow with us:
- Hands-on customer service: Help customers find what they need and make their experience seamless.
- Essential tasks: Manage deliveries, warehouse duties, and stocking—be ready to get your hands dirty!
- No previous experience needed: We’ll train you—just bring commitment and a friendly attitude.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service: Assist customers efficiently, keep the store clean, and ensure smooth operations.
- Sell effectively: Promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to help customers enjoy competitive prices and benefits.
- Multitask confidently: Pack orders, unpack deliveries, and stock shelves—regardless of temperature!
- Ease in: Adapt well to both quiet and busy periods with a problem-solving attitude.
- Customer engagement: Ask smart questions to understand their needs better—helping them succeed.
