The Role

Our retail team is the heartbeat of our in-store experience. You’ll play a vital role in delivering a memorable shopping journey for every customer, from product discovery to final checkout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence

    • Provide authentic, high-touch customer service that leaves a lasting impression
    • Proactively assist customers with fitting, styling, and purchasing products
    • Build long-term relationships by educating customers on brand offerings
  • Sales & Performance

    • Achieve sales targets and meet store performance metrics
    • Drive customer loyalty through product knowledge and promotions
  • Store Standards & Operations

    • Ensure clean, organised, and visually appealing store environments (front & back)
    • Manage deliveries, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising
    • Support loss prevention, stock accuracy, and health & safety protocols
    • Handle cash management adhering to all security and policy guidelines

  • Brand Advocacy
    • Promote upcoming collections and collect customer data (e.g., emails/loyalty sign-ups)
    • Occasionally assist with promotional initiatives (e.g., events, fittings, try-ons)

Requirements

Essential

  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
  • Passion for fashion/footwear (especially Sweaty Betty, Saucony, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn product details and engage enthusiastically with customers
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Prior retail or customer service experience (not strictly required)
  • Familiarity with synchronous selling (e.g., styling advice, sale closures)
  • Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and stock management

Work Environment

  • Retail setting (in-store, engaging with customers daily)
