Store Assistant

Store Assistant – Edinburgh Loanhead (12 Hours/Week – Weekends)

Position: 12-hour weekly weekend role (Saturday 6:45–11:15 & Sunday 8:45–16:15) Location: Edinburgh Loanhead

About the Role

We’re looking for local Candidates who can commit to early starts, late finishes, and an energetic, hands-on weeks from 7 AM to 8 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers with tool and building supply needs – from friendly guidance to hands-on help.
  • Hands-on tasks: handling deliveries, unpacking stock, stocking shelves, keeps the store pristine, and preparing orders.
  • Stepping up when busy – speaking to customers, staying efficient, and solving problems on the spot.
  • Engaging customers by asking the right questions to help them complete projects right.
  • Promoting Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, helping customers sign up for competitive discounts.
