Store Colleague Role
As a Store Colleague, you’ll be a key part of delivering the JD Group experience every day. We provide:

Role Overview

- Greeting customers with energy and confidence, helping them discover and connect with our products.
- Maintaining a sharp, well-replenished, and visually appealing display.
- Delivering outstanding customer support from the moment they arrive to the till.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Welcome customers with confidence and warmth, assisting them in finding products. Utilise in-store devices to share stock availability and support their full shopping journey.

Store Maintenance: Ensure the shop floor remains clean, tidy, and visually appealing. Replenish stock and keep displays refreshed and on-brand.

Operational Support: Contribute to day-to-day tasks, including till operations, stock rotations, restocking, and compliance with safety and store protocols.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- A positive, results-driven attitude suited to a fast-flux retail world with a strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with customers and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning new tasks, adapting to change, and advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and peak periods.
Desirable Attributes
- Genuine passion for JD’s brands, trends, and the latest offerings in the sports and outdoor sectors.
- Proactive mindset, with the initiative to engage customers and capitalise on sales opportunities.
- High attention to detail to maintain an impeccably presented shop floor.
