Store Colleague Role

As a Store Colleague, you’ll be a key part of delivering the JD Group experience every day. We provide:

Role Overview

  • Greeting customers with energy and confidence, helping them discover and connect with our products.
  • Maintaining a sharp, well-replenished, and visually appealing display.
  • Delivering outstanding customer support from the moment they arrive to the till.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Welcome customers with confidence and warmth, assisting them in finding products. Utilise in-store devices to share stock availability and support their full shopping journey.

  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the shop floor remains clean, tidy, and visually appealing. Replenish stock and keep displays refreshed and on-brand.

  • Operational Support: Contribute to day-to-day tasks, including till operations, stock rotations, restocking, and compliance with safety and store protocols.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • A positive, results-driven attitude suited to a fast-flux retail world with a strong customer focus.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with customers and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new tasks, adapting to change, and advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and peak periods.

Desirable Attributes

  • Genuine passion for JD’s brands, trends, and the latest offerings in the sports and outdoor sectors.
  • Proactive mindset, with the initiative to engage customers and capitalise on sales opportunities.
  • High attention to detail to maintain an impeccably presented shop floor.
