Join the JD Sports Fashion Team – Store Colleague Role

Hourly Rate: £12.81

About JD Sports and the Role

Established in 1981 with a single store in the Northwest of England, the JD Group is a leading omni-channel retailer of Sports Fashion, Outdoors, and Gyms. With colleagues working across global markets, JD Sports Fashion Plc has been part of the FTSE100 since 2019.

At JD, we don’t just sell products — we shape trends, break conventions, and foster communities. As a store colleague, you’ll play a fundamental role in delivering unmatched customer experiences and upholding our культур mission to be the world’s leading omnichannel retailer.

This is your opportunity to join a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and authenticity. Bring your energy, ideas, and passion to create an exciting future for JD.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll contribute to every aspect of our vibrant store environment:

  • Welcome customers with confidence, providing friendly and energetic support to help them discover products they love.
  • Use in-store digital tools for inventory checks, stock options, and seamless customer service.
  • Maintain an immaculate shop floor—keeping displays fresh, stock replenished, and on-brand.
  • Assist with daily store operations: till management, restocking, and adhering to all safety guidelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
